Profile
In 1978, I entered the world of Model Aviation. It all started when I saw this RC Modeler magazine on the rack of a magazine stand at the Airport where I worked.
Flipping through the pages, I came upon an article titled "So You Want to Learn to Fly RC". Being the curious type, I started reading the article, I got so excited, I bought the magazine. Days later I was on a flight to Miami in search of my first RC Kit.
I joined the Jamaica Model Aeroplane Club (JAMAC) and embarked on an adventure that is yet to be rivaled. Two years and many kits later I became the Secretary of the Club, it must have been my passion and unbridled enthusiasm that convinced the members that I was the right person for the job.
I served the club as secretary for two terms and was voted in as President for three consecutive terms. I took a break from being on the Executive Body and in 1989 I again became President for another three years.
In 1992 I formed the Hummingbird Flying Club; the next 5 years saw a whirlwind of activities with four (4) competition FUN FLYS and one (1) Airshow annually.
In mid 1996 I re-entered the Corporate World due to a major downturn in business and all my focus and attention was spent establishing myself in that area.
July 2011 I moved to the United States and reside in Atlanta GA. I am offering a Professional Building Service for all types of model airplanes.
